Product Name: Recombinant Streptavidin（Core），r-cSA

Introduction:Streptavidin (SA) is a homotetramer protein secreted by Streptomyces avidinii during its growth. One mole of streptavidin can bind to four moles of biotin. Because SA does not contain glycosyl, it has a lower non-specific binding than avidin in detection applications. It has been widely used in enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA), immunohistochemistry, time-resolved immunofluorescence (TRFIA), quantitative PCR, single strand DNA preparation, biological purification, monoclonal antibody preparation and other biotechnology fields. Compared with natural streptavidin, recombinant core streptavidin can remove the non activity related sequences and retain only the activity related core sequences. The stability and solubility of recombinant core streptavidin are better than natural SA.
